Meet the Artist Reception – Friday, November 19, 6-8pm

Just in time for the Holidays.
VSA Colorado apprentice artists are now accepting commissions to paint a portrait of your pet. This is a culmination of an 8 week artist in residency program led by Niza Knoll. The goal of this program is to develop, implement and support arts integrated education and employment programs for teens with disabilities. The portraits are as diverse as the teens that created them. Each has a personality and a style all their own.
Commissioning a portrait is simple. Come to the gallery and look at the examples of our artists, pick three artists whose style you like. We will make every effort to have the portrait done by one of the artists you select (or for an additional fee we can guarantee your top choice). Then give us two weeks and we will have your portrait. Simple. All orders placed by Dec. 7, 2010 will be done in time for the holidays.
Pricing $60 for an 11 x 14 portrait of your pet. Provide us with a photograph and a deposit and we will have the artists begin the portrait.

We love all animals and as an inclusive organization we do not discriminate. You can commission your dog, cat, hamster, snake or monkey. Our artists are encouraged to use their creative talent, therefore understand that the painting you are ordering will be an interpretation of your photograph. There are no refunds on commissioned paintings.
