Alan started with VSA Colorado’s Artworks Program in 2009. His sweet disposition and great sense of humor, makes Alan, 18-years-old, a delight to have around the Access Gallery. Alan came to the United States from Mexico when he was eight-years-old and has used drawing as way to express his desires and interests ever since.
Alan constantly brings to life various characters in his sketchbook and continues to develop his drawing skills. He admits he has a bit of an obsession when it comes to drawing anime characters and would love to one-day travel to Japan and meet some of the great anime artists. Alan aspires to one-day work in a gallery or an art store and sell his work for money.
