Darious is one of our newest Artworks Artist and also one of our most prolific. After leaving home in Wyoming at 19, ending up in a homeless shelter in Denver, he is now thankful to be living at Denver’s Urban Peak.
Darious is exceptionally talented and quick to pick up new techniques. Although he has trouble focusing his attention in various work situations, he gets lost for hours in his artwork. Before starting with Artworks, the only medium he had worked in was pencil. He quickly picked up a variety of mediums including printmaking, watercolors, acrylic and what ever else he finds at the Access Gallery. Because of his natural gift, He has already taken on the role of artist assistant, helping other Artists with technique, mixing color, proportions and more. Darious desires to become a full-time artist and make a living through his work.
