Street 2 Studio

Our teen program where teens worked with professional artists to refine their artistic skills through a variety of activities. The Street2Studio program is a Graffiti reduction project funded by the Denver Office of Cultural Affairs. After applying and interviewing to be in the program the teens are given a series of projects to complete. Professional artists from the community act as mentors and teachers for the teens. The program has also been featured in the Denver Post!

Giving Voice 2010

Giving Voice 2009

A poster exhibition showcasing what teens want the world to know. It is a collaboration between AIGA Colorado, VSA Arts of Colorado/Access  Gallery and the partnership with Colorado Cross Disability Coalition.

This exhibit is a poignant critique on society from a teen’s point of view. The student was paired up with a designer and directed the project, developing their communication and leadership skills. These pairings created impressive posters for everyone to enjoy.
