Artists in Residency Session

Our Artist in Residence program is focused on furthering our mission by deepening the classroom and studio connections between our gallery programs and local schools. Last year’s Artist in Residence program welcomed more than 15 artists into area schools to work with our students with and without disabilities. Using a variety of artistic techniques, such as painting, fiber arts, sculpture, songwriting, and photography Colorado based artists used creative experiences and perspective to connect to classroom units and inspire our students to express their ideas and learning.

Each Residency is made up of 6-8 sessions in the classroom
A culminating event – either a show at the school or in the gallery
A Reception for the students and their families
