Bio
Cris Ciani (she/her) has spent more than 25 years at Access Gallery creating opportunities for people with disabilities through the arts. As Associate Director, she has helped build programs including the Summer Arts Internship, Corporate Community Arts, and the Community Arts Program.
She graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver and completed the Aesthetic Education Program through the University of Denver. Her work has been recognized with awards including the Lucille Weiss Memorial Award for Education and the Americans for the Arts and Business Award.

Why Access Gallery?
I feel incredibly blessed to have been part of creating and growing Access Gallery into the place it is today. For more than 25 years, I’ve watched it grow from a small beginning into the vibrant studio, computer art lab, and gallery we have now.
My own experience growing up with a learning disability showed me how powerful support, patience, and opportunity can be. That is why this work means so much to me. Access Gallery is a place where people are seen and valued for who they are and encouraged to create, grow, and succeed.
