Jules Weed (they/them) has dedicated their life and career to advancing social justice through the transformational power of community, creativity, and lived experience. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Wellesley College and a Master of Arts in Critical Instruction and Pedagogy from the University of Colorado Denver.
As Studio Manager at Access Gallery, Jules helps create an inclusive and welcoming studio environment where artists can explore ideas, develop their creative practices, and feel supported in their work. Their background in sociology, education, and community-centered learning shapes the way they approach their role with artists, staff, and the broader community.

Why Access Gallery?
Access Gallery matters to me because it creates a space where people are respected, valued, and celebrated for who they are. From the moment I first stepped into the studio, I recognized that Access Gallery is a rare and powerful community built on creativity, belonging, and human connection.
So much of society's narrative around disability focuses on limitations. Access Gallery challenges that narrative by centering artists' talents, ideas, and contributions. Here, artists are supported in pursuing their creative goals while building meaningful connections with one another and the broader community.
The arts have the power to foster understanding, expand perspectives, and bring people together. Access Gallery embodies those values every day. Working alongside artists, staff, and community partners reminds me that we are united by our uniqueness, our interdependence, and our shared capacity for creation.
