Kari Hess (she/her) brings a background in creative education and community-based arts spaces. She spent many years as an art teacher and tutor, developing a deep appreciation for how creativity builds confidence, supports self-expression, and fosters connection.

Why Access Gallery?
I was drawn to Access Gallery through my interest in inclusive arts spaces and community-based creative work. What makes this space unique is its focus on artists with disabilities as professional artists, creating opportunities to develop their practice, exhibit their work, and connect with the broader community.
One of the most meaningful parts of my work has been getting to know the artists and being part of such a supportive, creative environment. Each artist brings their own voice and perspective, and I’m continually inspired by the creativity, collaboration, and sense of joy that exists here.
