Bio
Megan Bateman (she/her) is a Project Manager and Interior Designer at Gensler, a global architecture and design firm. Through Gensler Denver’s long-standing partnership with Access Gallery, she has engaged with the organization in a number of ways over the years.
In 2019, Megan led the pro bono, volunteer-based redesign of the gallery. At the time, Access Gallery operated within a single space on Santa Fe, and the project focused on creating an accessible and adaptable environment that could function as a studio, digital lab, workspace, and gallery.
The redesign strengthened the gallery’s street presence and improved the experience for artists, staff, and visitors. She has continued to stay connected to Access Gallery and has witnessed the organization’s growth and expanded impact on artists over time.
