Bio
Michael Agyepong (he/him) is a Colorado native with a background in studio art, marketing, and emergent digital practices from the University of Denver. He has worked with arts nonprofits throughout most of his career, beginning at the Denver Art Museum as a Creative Engagement Associate in the museum’s maker space.
Michael joined Access Gallery as a part-time assistant and became a full-time facilitator in spring 2025. He brings a collaborative, open approach to his work, supports artists in practicing self-advocacy, and leads workshops that help build creative skills and confidence.

Why Access Gallery?
I first discovered Access Gallery while researching nonprofit art spaces in Denver during an internship at the Denver Art Museum. What stood out right away was the sense of collaboration and togetherness among the artists. The culture felt different from other creative spaces and drew me in.
What makes Access Gallery special to me is the human connection. Listening to artists, staff, and volunteers has taught me so much and deepened my empathy. I’m especially motivated by helping artists bring their ideas to life and excited by the growing outreach that creates more opportunities for artists to build visibility, connection, and economic opportunity.
