Heather Hayes is an Access Gallery artist who has been part of the studio since 2022. She works across many mediums, including watercolor, jewelry making, and metalworking. She is especially drawn to curvilinear shapes and nature, often creating florals, trees, and work that feels joyful and connected to the world around her.
Heather enjoys learning new techniques and exploring different materials. Jewelry making has been a long-term passion, especially wax carving and casting, where she describes the process as discovering a design hidden inside the material. She is inspired by creativity, curiosity, and the feeling of being fully immersed in making.
