Mikelle started making bracelets after she graduated high school because she fell in love with fashion and wanted to create her own fashionable designs. Bracelets became her main form of art for a while; it helped her make money and helped her make friends with people in the community!
People often are left with so much love and warmth after Mikelle shares a part of herself. Her bracelets became a symbol of her abilities, kindness, talent, and eye for color. Around COVID, Mikelle was introduced to painting and the idea that she can personalize her stuff with the things she loves. After that, she has been non-stop with ideas - adding embellishments to her collection of Fanny packs, custom designing her own phone cases, and her wheelchair!
She is so inspired by being an Access Gallery artist and loves to use the studio as a place to paint, discover beautiful color combinations, and make lifelong friendships.
