Riley Kilgannon has been creating art since childhood and continued developing his practice through high school, college, and community studio work. Inspired by nature, environmentalism, mythology, family history, and personal experience, Riley creates paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and mixed-media works filled with symbolism and storytelling.
His artwork often reflects themes of resilience, ancestry, and the natural world, including landscapes, Viking imagery, animals, and family crests. Riley works in painting, chalk pastel, oil paint, woodworking, sculpture, and ceramics, often beginning with detailed sketches before building layered compositions. He also enjoys teaching creative techniques and sharing artistic processes with others through community classes and collaborative studio experiences.
