repaints_doll is an Access Gallery artist who transforms discarded dolls into imaginative, one-of-a-kind characters. She began exploring doll repainting at age seventeen, inspired by online creators, and has spent more than a decade developing her craft. What started with limited materials has grown into a distinctive practice rooted in storytelling, detail, and transformation.
Her work draws inspiration from cartoons, movies, and mythology, resulting in unexpected creations like steampunk creatures and reimagined characters. Each piece begins with a concept sketch, followed by sculpting and detailed painting to bring the character to life.
